    baileys is an A WebSockets library for interacting with WhatsApp Web

    Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Origin Validation Error via the messages.upsert event handling process. An attacker can inject forged messages, spoof message history, and corrupt application state by sending maliciously crafted protocolMessage payloads. This can be achieved by exploiting the handling of placeholderResendMessage and fake key shares, allowing unauthorized manipulation of message events and history synchronization.
