mimer contains interfaces for IO that make use of promises.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) attacks. It used a regular expression (^([\s\S]*?)((?:\.{1,2}|[^\\\/]+?|)(\.[^.\/\\]*|))(?:[\\\/]*)$) in order to parse UNIX paths to get the extension. This can cause an impact of about 10 seconds matching time for data 50K characters long.

How to fix Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS)?

Upgrade mimer to version 0.3.0 or higher.
