    Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Denial of Service (DoS) due to a stack overflow that can be triggered by a malformed message containing a deeply nested TLV. (The only limitation on such recursion is that the TLV length cannot exceed 0xffff.)

    NOTE: The StackOverflowError is caught if HAProxyMessageDecoder is used as part of Netty’s ChannelPipeline.
