Arbitrary File Write via Archive Extraction (Zip Slip)

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Arbitrary File Write via Archive Extraction (Zip Slip) via the unzip() method in the ApicurioCodegenWrapper class. An attacker can write files outside the intended output directory by supplying a crafted ZIP archive containing entries with path traversal sequences.

Note: This vulnerability is not present in the corresponding client code that performs unzipping along with path normalization before opening.

Note: The LTS version 2.15.0-lts has also been released to fix this vulnerability.

How to fix Arbitrary File Write via Archive Extraction (Zip Slip)?

Upgrade io.quarkiverse.openapi.generator:quarkus-openapi-generator-server-deployment to version 2.16.0 or higher.
