net.sourceforge.pmd:pmd-core is an extensible multilanguage static code analyzer.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to XML External Entity (XXE) Injection. When the PMD is running, the ruleset XMLs is parsed with the default Java parser settings, which allows an attacker to perform an attack.
