M Information Exposure Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Information Exposure via the `checkFailure` function in the CXF SOAP consumer. An external caller can read internal class and package names and exception messages by sending a SOAP request that triggers an undeclared route failure; if CXF is configured to include stack traces in fault details, those may also be exposed. Declared `@WebFault` exceptions are part of the service contract and are not the issue. Workarounds Declare the exceptions the CXF SOAP service is allowed to report, and use an `onException` handler to map all other failures to one of those declared exceptions; this prevents undeclared exception details from being returned in SOAP faults.
