    Deserialization of Untrusted Data

    org.hyperledger.fabric-sdk-java:fabric-sdk-java is a Java SDK for Hyperledger Fabric. Deprecated as of Fabric v2.5, replaced by org.hyperledger.fabric:fabric-gateway.

    Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Deserialization of Untrusted Data through the deSerializeChannel function, which calls ObjectInputStream.readObject on untrusted byte arrays without applying an ObjectInputFilter. An attacker can achieve arbitrary code execution by supplying crafted serialized objects.

    Note: This package was deprecated so no fix is expected. The project maintainers recommend migrating to org.hyperledger.fabric:fabric-gateway as a replacement, which is not vulnerable to this vulnerability. Migration Guide
