    Prototype Pollution

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Prototype Pollution via the set method, which fails to restrict path segments to own properties. When a path crosses a primitive value, assigning a __proto__ segment silently descends into the primitive's built-in prototype rather than throwing, allowing an attacker to set properties on String.prototype or other built-in prototypes. Additionally, a path segment that is an object is coerced anew on each use, meaning a segment whose toString produces different values on successive calls can reach Object.prototype.

    How to fix Prototype Pollution?

    Upgrade org.webjars.npm:traverse to version 0.6.12, 0.5.3, 0.4.7, 0.3.10 or higher.
