    Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Encoding or Escaping of Output through the buildCannedPolicy and buildCustomPolicy functions in the CloudFront signing utilities. An attacker can alter the generated CloudFront policy document and weaken access restrictions by supplying crafted resourceUrl or ipAddress values containing special characters. The issue affects applications that pass untrusted input into CloudFront signed URL or signed cookie generation, where the resulting policy is later used to enforce access control.
