    @sveltia/cms is a Sveltia CMS is a modern, lightweight, Git-based headless content management system.

    Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Cross-site Scripting (XSS) in the Markdown/RichText preview rendering process. An attacker can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of the CMS by injecting a crafted iframe element with a same-origin or relative path source into Markdown content, allowing access to the parent window's DOM, state, and browser storage, and enabling actions within the CMS context. This is only exploitable if the attacker can place malicious content into the repository or content source loaded by the CMS.

    @sveltia/cms is a Sveltia CMS is a modern, lightweight, Git-based headless content management system.

    Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Cross-site Scripting (XSS) in the entry summary rendering process. An attacker can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the browser of users viewing affected entry lists or search results by injecting specially crafted entity-encoded HTML into content sources loaded by the application. This is only exploitable if an attacker can place malicious content into the repository or content source that the application loads. #

    Workaround

    This vulnerability can be mitigated by avoiding loading content from untrusted authors, reviewing content for entity-encoded HTML payloads in fields used by entry summaries, disabling Markdown-enabled summary rendering for untrusted content, or restricting repository write access to trusted users only.
