    @umbraco-cms/backoffice is a This package contains the types for the Umbraco Backoffice.

    Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Cross-site Scripting (XSS) via the UFM rendering pipeline. An attacker can execute arbitrary scripts in the context of authenticated users by injecting malicious HTML with event handler attributes into property type descriptions.

    Note:

    This is only exploitable if the attacker has authenticated backoffice access with permissions to modify Settings.

    Upgrade @umbraco-cms/backoffice to version 16.5.1, 17.2.2 or higher.
