    appium-mcp is an Intelligent MCP server providing AI assistants with powerful tools and resources for Appium mobile automation

    Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Cross-site Scripting (XSS) via the createLocatorGeneratorUI function. An attacker can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of the MCP client by injecting malicious element attributes such as text, content-desc, or resource-id into the app under test, which are then rendered unescaped in the MCP UI. This allows unauthorized invocation of MCP tools, data exfiltration, or further compromise by leveraging the window.parent.postMessage mechanism.
