appwrite-cli is an Appwrite is an open-source self-hosted backend server that abstract and simplify complex and repetitive development tasks behind a very simple REST API

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Credential Exposure in a preferences file with insecure permissions (644). An attacker with local access to the system can read the credentials stored in the ~/.appwrite/prefs.json file.

How to fix Credential Exposure?

Upgrade appwrite-cli to version 3.0.0 or higher.
