Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS)

q-io contains interfaces for IO that make use of promises.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) attacks. It used a regular expression (/^\s*bytes\s*=\s*(\d*\s*-\s*\d*\s*(?:,\s*\d*\s*-\s*\d*\s*)*)$/) in order to parse custom I/O ranges. This can cause an impact of about 10 seconds matching time for data 100 characters long.

How to fix Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS)?

Upgrade q-io to version 1.13.5 or higher.
