    whistle is a HTTP, HTTP2, HTTPS, Websocket debugging proxy

    Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Directory Traversal in the GET /cgi-bin/temp/get handler in service.js. An attacker can read arbitrary files on the server by supplying a crafted filename parameter such as /etc/passwd instead of a temp-file name. This exposes local file contents to remote clients, allowing disclosure of sensitive system or application data and breaking the intended restriction to temporary files only.
