    Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key

apache-airflow-providers-amazon is a Provider for Apache Airflow. Implements apache-airflow-providers-amazon package

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key via the SecretsManagerBackend and SystemsManagerParameterStoreBackend lookup paths in the Amazon provider backends. An attacker can resolve another team’s connection or variable secret by supplying an ID that includes that team’s namespace, causing the backend to fall through to the team-agnostic lookup and return the secret’s credentials in full. This affects deployments running multi-team mode with either AWS backend: a caller scoped to one team can name a secret in another team’s namespace and obtain its stored connection string, variable value, or configuration secret instead of getting a miss.

How to fix Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key?

Upgrade apache-airflow-providers-amazon to version 9.34.0rc1 or higher.
