    Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Incorrect Authorization in the webauthn_verify_response process. An attacker can gain unauthorized access to sensitive operations by submitting a valid WebAuthn assertion for their own credential within a victim's authenticated session, thereby bypassing session freshness checks. This is only exploitable if the attacker possesses a registered WebAuthn credential on the same deployment and can drive HTTP requests within the victim's session, such as through CSRF, XSS, or session fixation techniques.
