    langchain-nvidia-ai-endpoints is an An integration package connecting NVIDIA AI Endpoints and LangChain

    Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Directory Traversal via the _url_to_b64_string function in _utils.py, which previously accepted local filesystem paths as image inputs for VLM (Vision Language Model) requests. An attacker who can influence the image source value passed to the chat model can supply a local file path, causing the server to read and encode arbitrary local files and transmit their contents to the configured NVIDIA AI endpoint, resulting in disclosure of sensitive server-side files.
