    pydicom is an A pure Python package for reading and writing DICOM data

    Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Directory Traversal via the FileSet function. An attacker can access, copy, move, or delete arbitrary files outside the intended directory by crafting a malicious DICOMDIR file with a ReferencedFileID that points to locations outside the File-set root, and then triggering file operations such as copy, write, or remove.

    Upgrade pydicom to version 2.4.5, 3.0.2 or higher.
