Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream python3-tkinter package and not the python3-tkinter package as distributed by AlmaLinux.
The poplib module, when passed a user-controlled command, can have additional commands injected using newlines. Mitigation rejects commands containing control characters.
