Upgrade AlmaLinux:8 httpd:2.4/mod_ssl to version 1:2.4.37-62.module_el8.9.0+3646+acd210d0 or higher.
This issue was patched in ALSA-2024:1786.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream httpd:2.4/mod_ssl package and not the httpd:2.4/mod_ssl package as distributed by AlmaLinux. See How to fix? for AlmaLinux:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

HTTP/2 incoming headers exceeding the limit are temporarily buffered in nghttp2 in order to generate an informative HTTP 413 response. If a client does not stop sending headers, this leads to memory exhaustion.
