NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libxml2 package and not the libxml2 package as distributed by AlmaLinux. See How to fix? for AlmaLinux:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

In libxml2 before 2.10.4, parsing of certain invalid XSD schemas can lead to a NULL pointer dereference and subsequently a segfault. This occurs in xmlSchemaFixupComplexType in xmlschemas.c.
