How to fix?

Upgrade AlmaLinux:8 nodejs:12/nodejs to version 1:12.22.5-1.module_el8.5.0+85+79a7b441 or higher.
This issue was patched in ALSA-2021:3623.

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream nodejs:12/nodejs package and not the nodejs:12/nodejs package as distributed by AlmaLinux. See How to fix? for AlmaLinux:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

If the Node.js https API was used incorrectly and "undefined" was in passed for the "rejectUnauthorized" parameter, no error was returned and connections to servers with an expired certificate would have been accepted.
