NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream postgresql:10/postgresql-server-devel package and not the postgresql:10/postgresql-server-devel package as distributed by AlmaLinux. See How to fix? for AlmaLinux:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

When the server is configured to use trust authentication with a clientcert requirement or to use cert authentication, a man-in-the-middle attacker can inject arbitrary SQL queries when a connection is first established, despite the use of SSL certificate verification and encryption.
