How to fix?

Upgrade AlmaLinux:8 python38:3.8/python38-scipy to version 0:1.3.1-4.module_el8.6.0+2778+cd494b30 or higher.
This issue was patched in ALSA-2020:4641.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream python38:3.8/python38-scipy package and not the python38:3.8/python38-scipy package as distributed by AlmaLinux. See How to fix? for AlmaLinux:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

PyYAML 5.1 through 5.1.2 has insufficient restrictions on the load and load_all functions because of a class deserialization issue, e.g., Popen is a class in the subprocess module. NOTE: this issue exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2017-18342.
