NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream virt:rhel/qemu-kvm-block-curl package and not the virt:rhel/qemu-kvm-block-curl package as distributed by AlmaLinux. See How to fix? for AlmaLinux:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

A flaw was found in libnbd. The client did not always correctly verify the NBD server's certificate when using TLS to connect to an NBD server. This issue allows a man-in-the-middle attack on NBD traffic.
