How to fix?

Upgrade AlmaLinux:9 bcc to version 0:0.30.0-6.el9 or higher.
This issue was patched in ALSA-2024:9187.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream bcc package and not the bcc package as distributed by AlmaLinux. See How to fix? for AlmaLinux:9 relevant fixed versions and status.

If kernel headers need to be extracted, bcc will attempt to load them from a temporary directory. An unprivileged attacker could use this to force bcc to load compromised linux headers. Linux distributions which provide kernel headers by default are not affected by default.
