CVE-2026-19931  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Alpine:3.23 curl to version 8.22.0-r0 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream curl package and not the curl package as distributed by Alpine. See How to fix? for Alpine:3.23 relevant fixed versions and status.

A flaw in libcurl makes it wrongly reuse an HTTP connection setup for a given hostname using Negotiate authentication, when the initial request is done using empty credentials. This can make user B's request get sent over user A's previously authenticated connection.
