CVE-2019-8325 Open this link in a new tabHow to fix?
Upgrade Alpine:3.8
ruby
to version 2.5.5-r0 or higher.
NVD Description
Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream ruby
package and not the ruby
package as distributed by Alpine
.
See How to fix?
for Alpine:3.8
relevant fixed versions and status.
An issue was discovered in RubyGems 2.6 and later through 3.0.2. Since Gem::CommandManager#run calls alert_error without escaping, escape sequence injection is possible. (There are many ways to cause an error.)
