NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libvirt-nss package and not the libvirt-nss package as distributed by Amazon-Linux. See How to fix? for Amazon-Linux:2 relevant fixed versions and status.

util/virlog.c in libvirt does not properly determine the hostname on LXC container startup, which allows local guest OS users to bypass an intended container protection mechanism and execute arbitrary commands via a crafted NSS module.
