NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream kernel-debuginfo package and not the kernel-debuginfo package as distributed by Amazon-Linux. See How to fix? for Amazon-Linux:2018.03 relevant fixed versions and status.

The Linux kernel before 5.17.9 allows TCP servers to identify clients by observing what source ports are used. This occurs because of use of Algorithm 4 ("Double-Hash Port Selection Algorithm") of RFC 6056.
