CWE-264  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

This issue was patched in ALAS-2013-253.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream mod_nss-debuginfo package and not the mod_nss-debuginfo package as distributed by Amazon-Linux. See How to fix? for Amazon-Linux:2018.03 relevant fixed versions and status.

mod_nss 1.0.8 and earlier, when NSSVerifyClient is set to none for the server/vhost context, does not enforce the NSSVerifyClient setting in the directory context, which allows remote attackers to bypass intended access restrictions.
