NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream tigervnc-debuginfo package and not the tigervnc-debuginfo package as distributed by Amazon-Linux. See How to fix? for Amazon-Linux:2018.03 relevant fixed versions and status.

XRegion in TigerVNC allows remote VNC servers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference) by leveraging failure to check a malloc return value, a similar issue to CVE-2014-6052.
