NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream cloud-init-cfg-onprem package and not the cloud-init-cfg-onprem package as distributed by Amazon-Linux. See How to fix? for Amazon-Linux:2023 relevant fixed versions and status.

When a non-x86 platform is detected, cloud-init grants root access to a hardcoded url with a local IP address. To prevent this, cloud-init default configurations disable platform enumeration.
