How to fix?

Upgrade Amazon-Linux:2023 ecs-init to version 0:1.89.2-1.amzn2023 or higher.
This issue was patched in ALAS2023-2025-879.

An attacker can craft an input to the Parse functions that would be processed non-linearly with respect to its length, resulting in extremely slow parsing. This could cause a denial of service.
