NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream golang-docs package and not the golang-docs package as distributed by Centos. See How to fix? for Centos:10 relevant fixed versions and status.

The "go tool pack" subcommand (usually used only by the compiler as an internal tool with known-good inputs) does not sanitize output filenames. Extracting a malicious archive file with the "pack" subcommand can write files to arbitrary locations on the filesystem.
