CWE-399  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Centos:6 cups-php to version 1:1.4.2-35.el6_0.1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream cups-php package and not the cups-php package as distributed by Centos. See How to fix? for Centos:6 relevant fixed versions and status.

ipp.c in cupsd in CUPS 1.4.4 and earlier does not properly allocate memory for attribute values with invalid string data types, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (use-after-free and application crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted IPP request.
