CVE-2011-2022  (opens in a new tab)
CWE-20  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Centos:6 kernel to version 0:2.6.32-131.17.1.el6 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream kernel package and not the kernel package as distributed by Centos. See How to fix? for Centos:6 relevant fixed versions and status.

The agp_generic_remove_memory function in drivers/char/agp/generic.c in the Linux kernel before 2.6.38.5 does not validate a certain start parameter, which allows local users to gain privileges or cause a denial of service (system crash) via a crafted AGPIOC_UNBIND agp_ioctl ioctl call, a different vulnerability than CVE-2011-1745.
