CWE-400  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Centos:6 kernel-debug to version 0:2.6.32-358.14.1.el6 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream kernel-debug package and not the kernel-debug package as distributed by Centos. See How to fix? for Centos:6 relevant fixed versions and status.

The tcp_read_sock function in net/ipv4/tcp.c in the Linux kernel before 2.6.34 does not properly manage skb consumption, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (system crash) via a crafted splice system call for a TCP socket.
