CWE-77  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

There is no fixed version for Centos:7 rsync.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream rsync package and not the rsync package as distributed by Centos. See How to fix? for Centos:7 relevant fixed versions and status.

The parse_arguments function in options.c in rsyncd in rsync before 3.1.3 does not prevent multiple --protect-args uses, which allows remote attackers to bypass an argument-sanitization protection mechanism.
