CWE-113  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Centos:8 containers-common to version 2:1-38.module+el8.9.0+20325+b2853e6e or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream containers-common package and not the containers-common package as distributed by Centos. See How to fix? for Centos:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

The HTTP/1 client does not fully validate the contents of the Host header. A maliciously crafted Host header can inject additional headers or entire requests. With fix, the HTTP/1 client now refuses to send requests containing an invalid Request.Host or Request.URL.Host value.
