CWE-416  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Centos:8 kernel-zfcpdump to version 0:4.18.0-147.el8 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream kernel-zfcpdump package and not the kernel-zfcpdump package as distributed by Centos. See How to fix? for Centos:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.0.10. SMB2_read in fs/cifs/smb2pdu.c has a use-after-free. NOTE: this was not fixed correctly in 5.0.10; see the 5.0.11 ChangeLog, which documents a memory leak.
