The Centos
security team deemed this advisory irrelevant for Centos:8
.
NVD Description
Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libnghttp2
package and not the libnghttp2
package as distributed by Centos
.
HTTP/2 incoming headers exceeding the limit are temporarily buffered in nghttp2 in order to generate an informative HTTP 413 response. If a client does not stop sending headers, this leads to memory exhaustion.
