NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libssh-devel package and not the libssh-devel package as distributed by Centos. See How to fix? for Centos:9 relevant fixed versions and status.

A flaw was found in libssh. Incorrect AES-GCM finalization checks in builds using the OpenSSL backend can effectively remove integrity protection, allowing an in-path attacker to modify plaintext on the wire without detection.
