NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream nasm package and not the nasm package as distributed by Centos. See How to fix? for Centos:9 relevant fixed versions and status.

NASM’s disasm() function contains a stack based buffer overflow when formatting disassembly output, allowing an attacker triggered out-of-bounds write when slen exceeds the buffer capacity.
