Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input in the Mat_VarCreateStruct function when the nfields value does not match the actual number of strings in the fields array. An attacker can cause out-of-bounds reads and invalid memory frees by providing mismatched values, leading to segmentation faults or heap corruption.
