CVE-2005-3573  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:10 mailman to version 2.1.5-10 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream mailman package and not the mailman package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:10 relevant fixed versions and status.

Scrubber.py in Mailman 2.1.5-8 does not properly handle UTF8 character encodings in filenames of e-mail attachments, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash).
