CVE-2005-2471  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:10 netpbm-free to version 2:10.0-9 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream netpbm-free package and not the netpbm-free package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:10 relevant fixed versions and status.

pstopnm in netpbm does not properly use the "-dSAFER" option when calling Ghostscript to convert a PostScript file into a (1) PBM, (2) PGM, or (3) PNM file, which allows external user-assisted attackers to execute arbitrary commands.
