CWE-20  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:10 privoxy to version 3.0.21-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream privoxy package and not the privoxy package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:10 relevant fixed versions and status.

Privoxy before 3.0.21 does not properly handle Proxy-Authenticate and Proxy-Authorization headers in the client-server data stream, which makes it easier for remote HTTP servers to spoof the intended proxy service via a 407 (aka Proxy Authentication Required) HTTP status code.
