CVE-2008-4316  (opens in a new tab)
CWE-189  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:11 glib2.0 to version 2.20.0-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream glib2.0 package and not the glib2.0 package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:11 relevant fixed versions and status.

Multiple integer overflows in glib/gbase64.c in GLib before 2.20 allow context-dependent attackers to execute arbitrary code via a long string that is converted either (1) from or (2) to a base64 representation.
